Major structural and infrastructure issues were overcome to give this landmark a new lease on life! A community favorite for many years, with the all new interior and exterior, new bar and new kitchen, the Alpha Tavern is sure to remain a preferred destination for years to come. The historic original facility was built in 1932 and was originally called the Alpha Beer Grille and later became known as Ye Olde Alpha.  This watering hole has been a favorite destination and restaurant to Wheeling area residents and visitors for generations.
